MOXIE Productions presents the 2006 Vermont Contemporary Playwrights Award winning "Twist In The Rising," by Montpelier's poet/actor Sarah Brock on June 13-23, Wednesday through Saturday each week at 7:30 PM. Now in it's third year of celebrating and developing emerging contemporary voices in Vermont theatre, MOXIE Productions is proud to present this riveting play chosen from submissions to the contest from playwrights all over the country. Set in medieval England, "Twist In The Rising" is the engaging story of five women who, faced with a perilous turn of events, must pool their resources and their courage as they conspire to keep their castle. Although written as a period piece, its themes resonates soundly in today's world headlines and households. Directed by Teresa Langston, this moving tale features Mia Adams, Monica Callan, Becca Chodorkoff, Emily Lee, and Patty Orgain Wood, and is sponsored by the Society of Creative Anachronism.
